EmpowerED
Strengthening the personal, financial, and emotional resilience of Europe’s youth.
EmpowerED is a dynamic European project designed to equip young people and youth workers with the tools they need to navigate the complex challenges of the 21st century. Spanning 30 months and supported by the Erasmus+ Programme (Key Action 220 - Cooperation partnerships in youth), the initiative connects five experienced partner organisations from Germany, Portugal, Romania, Estonia, and Cyprus under a shared goal
Why EmpowerED?
Climate anxiety, financial instability, and emotional stress are deeply intertwined issues shaping the realities of young people today. EmpowerED responds to this by delivering a holistic learning journey that empowers youth to:
Understand and apply sustainable thinking
Develop strong emotional literacy
Gain essential financial knowledge
Engage in digital innovation and civic participation
Rather than treating these areas separately, EmpowerED embraces their interconnectedness—because emotional regulation influences financial decision-making, and both are crucial to building a more sustainable future.

Learning Mobilities & Training Events
A blended mobility in Romania for both educators and young people
A youth mobility in Estonia focused on escape game co-creation
A digital storytelling training in Portugal
A final conference in Cyprus and a travelling “EmpowerED Caravan” in Germany
Interactive Online Course
Hosted on a custom-built digital platform, the "Sustainable Futures" course introduces participants to financial literacy, emotional intelligence, and sustainability—using video-based content, microlearning modules, and interactive assessments.

A serious game and digital storytelling platform where players navigate real-life scenarios, exploring the consequences of their choices on emotional well-being, finances, and the environment.
